Back to School Giveaway!***WINNER ANNOUNCED***

In Blog, Featured, Featured2 by admin5 Comments

It is that time of year—the air is cooling down (or not, as in the case of Florida), the kids are off to school, and the schedules start to fill up with sporting practices, birthday parties, and homework.  I always love this time of year—I think I have been in school for so long that early fall makes me think of new beginnings –even more so than New Years Day.

I always make long lists of things I plan to accomplish before the school year starts and this year has been no exception.  I have home improvement, self improvement, kid improvement, and blog improvement  goals to tackle in the next year.  And, I am motivated and excited to knock them off my list.

I also love this time of year because I start thinking about the fall and winter holidays—Halloween is right around the corner, and then Thanksgiving and Christmas follow close behind.  I do not think it is too early to start getting ready for Christmas–and if I had my way, I would start pulling out the decorations now.  I want to start cooking with pumpkins, baking Christmas cookies, soups, and other hearty winter foods.

In honor of the back to school season, I am giving away a cereal bars prize pack from General Mills.  The winner will get a couple of boxes of cereal bars, a lunch bag, magnetic white board (for organization!) and some really nice colored pencils.

To enter the drawing, post a comment here, answering the following question:  What do you do during the back to school season?  Do you get stressed or excited and motivated?

Winner to be selected on September 12, 2011.

Disclosure: Cereal Treats Bars, information, and giveaway have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark

***WINNER: I had to choose another winner because the original winner never contacted me. According to the Random Number Generator, the winner of this giveaway is Rina. ***

I get stressed out coordinating schedules for middle school kids and myself. I try to let my husband coordinate his own schedule- but that doesn’t always work so I have to help him!
